Jimpphat will not be able to play for MOUZ at IEM Sydney due to visa issues

German club MOUZ has officially announced that the Counter-Strike squad will play at IEM Sydney in a different roster. The 17-year-old Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo has encountered visa problems, so the organization will send a youth roster player to the tournament.

Young Jimi will be replaced by MOUZ NXT's Bram "Nexius" Campana for the upcoming championship. Management said that if the existing paperwork issues are resolved in the coming days, Jimpphat will be reunited with the team in Australia.

Recall that IEM Sydney 2023 will be held from October 16 to 22, the prize pool is $250,000, and the winner of the tournament will receive $100,000 and a slot at IEM Katowice 2024. The event is also part of the Intel Grand Slam Season 5. Now participating in the race for $1,000,000 in gold bars are VitalityENCEG2 and MOUZ. All have one win each and are competing at IEM Sydney 2023.
