Team Imperial may face some unexpected changes during the break in play. The Brazilian organization plans to sign Argentine Santino "try" Rigal, who has been on the bench for Team 9z since last October, to replace Henrique "HEN1" Teles in the starting lineup. Information about this has been received by Dust2 Brasil. Negotiations are ongoing between Imperial and 9z, but the deal has not yet been finalized.
9z declined to comment. Imperial had not provided a response at the time of publication. Statistically, HEN1 is one of Imperial's key players, with a rating of 6.3, second only to João "felps" Vasconcellos with a rating of 6.4. HEN1 joined Imperial in July last year and together with the team became the South American ECL S47 and Thunderpick World Championship SA #1 champion, finished runner-up at GET Rio 2024, and participated in PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen, reaching the Elimination stage.
If try is signed, Imperial's lineup will look like this:
Try, in his 19th year, has been on the bench since October 2023, when he requested it due to health issues. The Argentine is familiar with Brazil, having played for the 00Nation team from January 2022 to 2023. Since March this year, he said he was ready to compete again and started looking for a team. Last week, he posted that he is still looking for a team and is "more motivated than ever".
