Imperial and BESTIA became the first participants of ESL Challenger League Season 47: South America

Imperial and BESTIA have secured their spot in ESL Challenger League Season 47: South America by winning Open Qualifier 1, where 55 teams competed, including strong opponents like Sharks, Flamengo, and WINDINGO.

BESTIA, who recently won the regional qualification for ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023, a LAN tournament with a prize pool of $100 000, have high chances of victory in the upcoming ESL Challenger League season. Imperial, in turn, consists of very experienced players who have numerous achievements in the past.

This is a significant success for both teams, ranked 35th and 46th respectively in the ESL rankings, confirming their status as some of the best teams in the region. Now, only FURIA, MIBR, 9z and paiN are higher than the Argentinians in the table.

ESL Challenger League Season 47: South America, which starts on February 13 and lasts until June 9, 2024, will gather 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $60,000. The tournament will also determine two teams that will earn slots in ESL Pro League Season 20. This will be the first season of the ESL Challenger League held in South America, opening new opportunities for regional teams to prove their skills on the international stage.
