The ESL organization has published the full list of invited teams to the prestigious IEM Rio 2024 tournament. The tournament will take place from October 7 to 13 and has a prize pool of $250,000.
The event promises to be large-scale and bring together the best players from all over the world. Considering the previous results and the popularity of the teams, we can expect a fierce struggle for the first place.

- Natus Vincere (Partner Team)

- Astralis (Partner Team)
- FURIA (Local Hero BR)
- Virtus.pro (ESL WR)
- Complexity (ESL WR)
- TheMongolz (ESL WR)
- 9z Globant (ESL WR)
In addition to the aforementioned teams, several more teams are expected to join the event after qualifying tournaments:
- TBD (Qualifier EU ) - two teams
- TBD (Qualifier NA ) - one team
- TBD (Qualifier SA ) - one team
- TBD (Qualifier Asia ) - one team
A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament.
The Spirit team received an invitation to the tournament, but decided not to participate. This was announced in the official ESL Twitter post. The reasons for the refusal are not yet disclosed, but such decisions are often due to various internal factors or preparation for other important events.
The prize pool of the tournament is $250,000, which will be distributed among the winning teams. However, the detailed payout structure has not yet been announced.
