Renegades are one step closer to PGL Major Stockholm 2021

One more win is all it takes.

First day of the event.

The qualifying process to the PGL Major Stockholm is crystal clear in Oceania - Renegades will be in Sweden as long as they place top-2 or better at the IEM Fall, while ORDER need to not only win the entire thing, but have Looking for Org or VERTEX in the finals for a chance to debut at the Major themselves.

For now, however, Renegades looked untouchable against VERTEX, as they cruised to wins on both Inferno and Vertigo, giving up only fourteen combined rounds in the process. Looking for Org, who have shown that they are more than capable of beating Renegades in recent days, secured first map over ORDER on Vertigo, but could not close it with a sweep, as ORDER ran them out of Ancient in the very next game. A back and forth affair on Nuke saw ex-Dire Wolves squad jump to a “11-4” lead at the half, which ended up being enough despite the late ORDER rally, “16-13”, “2-1”.

Now Looking for Org will clash with Renegades in the upper bracket final, while ORDER and VERTEX are going to play tomorrow for a chance to stay alive at the IEM Fall Oceania.
