The organizers have announced that IEM Dallas 2024 will be held on the latest game patch. This update aims to address the issue of game freezes that have plagued matches throughout the past year.
The patch, featuring the new Vertigo and a new economy, was released a day ago and will already be applied to the new tournament, adding intrigue to watching matches on the new map. The tournament, scheduled from May 27 to June 2, will offer a prize pool of $250,000 and a slot at IEM Cologne 2024.

The tournament will feature well-known teams such as BIG, Complexity, FaZe, MOUZ, NAVI, Vitality, M80, Team Spirit, Falcons, G2, Monte, Virtus.pro, HEROIC, Liquid, 9z Team, and FlyQuest. The opening matches of the tournament will see confrontations between G2 and Falcons, as well as Monte and Vitality in the upper bracket of Group A in a BO1 format.
