The Brazilians almost won the first map, Nuke, coming back from 11-5 down, but fell short in the final minutes. Mirage was a one-sided match, with FURIA taking just five rounds after a failed side for CT, where they lost by a score of 13-.5
After the match skullz talked about his transition from Liquid and what went wrong.
We were getting a little lost in mid-round situations. We played well in the beginning, but as a new team, of course NAVI penalized us for mistakes
When asked about his time at Liquid, skullz said it was a rewarding experience despite the challenges.
From the beginning we didn't have enough points to play tournaments, so we had to play qualifications in Los Angeles. That disrupted our training schedule in Europe. And overall, I think we didn't learn to adapt to each other and play for each other
I feel at home here. I'm very happy to play with these guys

FURIA will now have to play in the Last Chance stage, a BO1 format, for a playoff spot. Despite the unusual format, skullz remains optimistic.
The next stage will be more comfortable for us thanks to the map pool
