Today, the lineup of the Ukrainian National Team for the IESF World Esports Championship 2023 was announced. The bo3.gg editorial team decided to come up with the best lineup for this tournament.
What is the current lineup?
Volodymyr said:
Now I understand why Ukrainian Counter-Strike is not developing as quickly. Honestly, there are many players in Ukraine who could be in the national team, but IKLA is definitely not one of them. That's why buying and selling a slot is absolute madness to me, there's no other way to describe it.

The current lineup of IKLA is as follows:
"The Ideal" Lineup of the Ukrainian National Team
The editors at bo3.gg have decided to assemble their ideal team for the CS:GO World Championship.
We need to select a total of 5 players for all the necessary positions. Specifically, a sniper, a captain, a lurker, and two support players who will serve as "fraggers."
Next, the captain role will be filled by a former teammate of Alexander and the current captain of the Monte team. Viktor "sdy" Orudjev - he led his team to the quarterfinals of the latest CS:GO Major - BLAST.tv Major Paris 2023!
And now, the lurker. The concept of this role is quite broad. It's impossible to describe all the actions of a player with a single phrase like "the one who ends up behind the opponent." In most cases, it's just a versatile player who can lurk, entry frag, or even be a regular support player.
As a result, our "ideal" lineup for the Ukrainian National Team looks like this:
- s1mple
- b1t
- DemQQ
- sdyr
- 1nkle
We would like to remind you that the Ukrainian National Team has already entered Group A in the qualification stage, where they will face teams from Israel, Estonia, and Armenia. The total number of participating teams in the qualification is 16, but only the top four teams will be able to continue their journey and participate in the WEC23 World Championship, scheduled to take place from August 25th to September 3rd in Romania. The tournament's prize pool will amount to $100,000.
