FPS issues and millisecond lag in Counter Strike 2 can often depend on the processor. A method was discovered on Reddit that can boost performance for a more enjoyable gaming experience.
A forum user with the nickname u/smurfeNn found that the command "-threads 9" entered in the game's launch parameters can significantly improve FPS on Intel 12th generation and higher processors, as the shooter incorrectly uses E-cores, which are used for background tasks that don't require many resources, and P-cores, intended for resource-intensive programs.
This method increases FPS in 1% lows by 20-25%, which also on average increases performance. It also reduces stuttering, making the gameplay smoother.
This method is relevant for those Intel owners who have an 8-core processor. But if there are more or fewer cores, it is enough to simply find out the number of cores of your processor, add one, and enter the corresponding line in the CS2 launch parameters.
