On June 19, 2018, Valve added the Panorama UI to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which completely revamped the match history tab. However, with the release of Counter-Strike 2, this menu has not changed, and we have decided to suggest how Valve could improve it.
Since June 19, 2018, the match history menu has not been changed or improved. But today, we will try to improve it as much as possible.
In fact, to significantly improve the match history menu, you only need to add a few things.
ELO in Premier Mode: With the arrival of Counter-Strike 2 and Premier Mode, everyone started chasing higher ELO numbers in this mode. However, it is impossible to see how many points you have gained or lost in Premier Mode through the match history menu. You're left to either remember in your head or download each demo and fast-forward to the end. But in essence, this is so easy to do.
Filtering by game modes: At the time of writing, the following competitive modes are available in CS2, where demos might be useful:
- Premier Mode
- Match Making
- Wingman
Valve just needs to add a filter so you can select matches only from Wingman or another mode.
Increase the amount of information: Change the current limitation, which allows you to see only 8 games on one screen, by adding a function to flip through pages of games. Valve stores information about all the matches you have played, including data starting from 2012. Nevertheless, the developers decided that displaying more than 8 matches on the screen for a player is not necessary. After all, if all the data is stored, why can't regular players view it?
