In addition to various new features in Counter-Strike 2, the blast radius of the bomb has also been changed. Commentator Jack Jacky Peters drew attention to this.
Jacky edited a video in which he clearly showed which usual places for saving should now be avoided. The changes did not affect three maps - Dust2, Ancient, and Anubis.
Changes in the blast radius of the bomb and damage from it in CS2
Blast radius:
- Mirage: 1750 > 2275
- Overpass: 1750 > 2275
- Nuke: 1400 > 2275
- Vertigo: 1400 > 1750
Damage from bomb explosion:
- Mirage: 500 > 650
- Overpass: 500 > 650
- Nuke: 400 > 650
- Vertigo: 400 > 500
What about Inferno?
After the addition of the Inferno map in CS2, Peters also studied the bomb blast radius there. As a result, the C4 action radius has also been changed on this location.

Now users with low health levels need to be more careful when trying to save weapons for the next round. It is worth noting that CS2 is still in beta testing mode and the bomb radius values may change.
