Today marks the start of the final open qualifier for the European region for the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 major - PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. And specially for our readers, we have gathered the main information about it.

The fourth qualifier for the European region at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 began today at 18:00 on Challengermode. From this qualifier, only four teams will make it to the closed part.

A total of 2,263 teams registered for the fourth qualifier, but only 1629 confirmed their participation and have already started competing. This qualifier will feature two brackets, and the seeding of teams will be done in a random order. The qualifier itself started an hour later than usual, at 18:00 Kyiv time.

Among the interesting lineups, the following can be highlighted: BLEED, Sangal, TSM,  B8, EYEBALLERS, Team Secret, The Witchers, 9INE, Alliance, GODSENT, 00NATION, Anonymo.   

Reminder, that from the previous qualifiers, the following teams have already made it to the closed part: ex-ThunderFlash,  KOI, Fnatic, Entropiq, Heroic, SINNERS Esports, IKLA, Pera Esports, ECSTATIC, OG, Permitta Esports, sYnck.   

But, it wouldn't be PGL if there wasn't another mishap at this qualifier. The organizers of the qualifiers again faced technical problems:

Currently, PGL is considering the possibility of a later start time for the European bracket B, as it is a weekday. We are working on all server crashes/reboots on the dust2 map with our developers. Please wait while we fix them - we will restore the lobby and load all the backups we need, it will take some time. We are working with our server provider to ensure that the server is rebooted and set to the right maps that were picked.

The closed qualifier for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will start on January 18, 2024. It will be divided into two groups А and В. From this stage, only 8 teams will advance.
