In his latest interview, the captain of G2 Esports, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, expressed his opinion about the professional scene transitioning to CS2!

HooXi:

We need to take a leap of faith and switch to CS2!The game isn't fully ready. The worst thing we, as a community, can do is to constantly switch between CS2 and CS:GO, it's getting on everyone's nerves. There will never be a perfect time to transition; there will always be issues, but we just need to keep playing CS2.

 

It should be noted that this Wednesday, September 27th, Valve officially released CS2 to the public! Thus ending the 11-year history of CS:GO!

Currently, many professional teams are participating in the ESL Pro League Season 18, which will conclude with CS:GO. Afterward, BLAST Premier Fall Showdown will be the final tournament of the fading era.
