Today G2 posted in X that Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen will miss IEM Dallas 2024 because he will be at his sister's wedding, so they will play with a substitute. It's going to be tough for them without a captain, so we'll see what happens.
During IEM Dallas, @HooXiCSGO will be attending his sister's wedding and so will not be with the team. As a result, we will be playing with a stand-in for this event.

The first option for a replacement was Audric “JACKZ” Jug, but he was banned from ESL - he was playing qualifications for some tournament. According to the operator's rules, 120 days must pass since playing for other teams.

HooXi's likely replacement will be Jake “Stewie2k” Yip who even hinted that he will be going to Dallas in a May 7 post. “More fun coming soon. Cali -> Dallas is not a long trip, right?”
This will be his first LAN since PGL Antwerp Major 2022 Americas RMR, where Evil Geniuses finished 8th and did not qualify for the Major.
