HEROIC announced the new CS2 roster

HEROIC has officially announced its updated lineup for the upcoming BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 tournament: Closed Qualifier. The team includes a core of players from Sangal, Spanish star Álvaro “SunPayus” García and Belarusian Andrey “tn1r” Tatarinovich, as well as two replacements - Linus “nilo” Bergman and Pavle “Maden” Bošković.

SunPayus is a key figure

The main star of the new roster is SunPayus, who will once again work under the guidance of coach Eetu “sAw” Saha. Under his tutelage at ENCE, the Spaniard showed excellent results. At the same time, 2024 was a difficult year for SunPayus, as he failed to achieve significant success with the Falcons.

SunPayus hopes to regain his form and help HEROIC return to the top of the esports Olympus.

Engaging the Sangal core

HEROIC relied on a trio of Sangal players - LNZ, yxngstxr, and xfl0ud. In 2024, Sangal were one of the leading teams in the second division, winning several CCT series tournaments and two seasons of the ESL Challenger League. However, the team lacked consistency in Tier-1 games and failed to qualify for any of the Major tournaments.

HEROIC's roster allows the team to automatically receive several important invites, including to ESL Pro League Season 21 and the BLAST Bounty tournament itself.

Contribution of tN1R

The 23-year-old Belarusian tN1R finished 2024 as a member of GUN5, where he showed stable results with a 6.7 rating in Tier-2 and Tier-3 tournaments. His signing came as a surprise, but the organization hopes that tN1R will bring new energy to the roster and help HEROIC to succeed on the international stage.

Forecasts for the season

The updated HEROIC roster has great potential. The renewed cooperation between SunPayus and sAw could be the key to the team's success. Bringing in the Sangal core provides HEROIC with stability, and the addition of tN1R adds aggression and unpredictability.

The team will make its debut at BLAST Bounty 2025, where it will try to prove its ability to compete at the highest level.
