G2 secured a spot in the quarterfinals of BLAST Open Spring 2025 by defeating The MongolZ in the lower bracket final of Group B with a score of 2:0. Now, G2 will continue their battle in Lisbon, while The MongolZ have concluded their run in the tournament.

The match began on Ancient, chosen by The MongolZ. The first half was a closely contested battle, ending 7:5 in favor of G2. In the second half, the teams traded rounds, but G2 managed to maintain their lead and closed the map 13:11.

On Dust2, selected by G2, there was hardly any contest. G2 dominated the first half, winning it 9:3, and after switching sides, they didn't allow their opponent to make a comeback, winning 13:4.
