G2 Esports has announced a significant change to their CS2 team, benching Nemanja "nexa" Isaković. This move was anticipated by many, considering nexa's recent performance in the team.
nexa joined G2 last November, and under his leadership, the team achieved significant success. They placed in the top 4 at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and won IEM Dallas 2024. Despite these achievements, the organization decided to make changes.
nexa's current rating is 5.7, indicating his inconsistent gameplay, which led to his replacement. Rumors suggest that Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa will take nexa's place in the roster. Additionally, this may not be the last change in the lineup, as many analysts and insiders report that G2 is looking for a replacement for HooXi as well.
Thanks for the hottest clutches, good vibes, and our first IEM Dallas trophy, @G2Nexa ❤️
