Fnatic have officially announced the hire of BLEED's nawwk as a sniper ahead of Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR. Despite participating in the closed RMR qualification with BLEED, nawwk is now cleared to play for fnatic at this important stage.

The departure of a past sniper

The arrival of nawwk is linked to afro, who is sent to the bench after a year of playing for fnatic. Since the summer break there were rumors about his move, but then it didn't happen because apparently they didn't find the right candidate. But after BLEED's RMR failure and Fnatic's EPL S20 failure, the replacement happened.

Career nawwk

For nawwk, this will be the second legendary Swedish team and another opportunity to return to the tier 1 range. He has previously played for NIP before, where big wins and steep results were not forthcoming. After that he played for Apeks and BLEED, where there were also no significant results.

Fnatic lineup and first tournaments

After the nawwk hire, Fnatic's roster looks as follows:

The first tournament for the new squad will be YaLLa Compass Summer 2024, where they will play Into the Breach in the quarterfinals. They received a direct invitation to that tournament before the lease was announced, so they will have little time to prepare perfectly.

On top of that, they will have RES Regional Champions 2024, which will be the first LAN tournament for the team. It will be held from October 16-19 in Belgrade, where the tournament will have a prize pool of $250,000.
