The FlyQuest team has officially announced the adoption of a koala named Mavis. This is part of their Project KOALAficiation initiative to support koalas in Australia. For every ACE or pistol round won by the FlyQuest team, they adopt a koala for a month.
This initiative has aroused great interest among fans as it combines support for esports and wildlife conservation.
FlyQuest, known for their active stance in supporting environmental initiatives, launched Project KOALAficiation in May 2024. This campaign was aimed at drawing attention to the problem of koala conservation in Australia. Under the terms of the campaign, for each ACE or pistol round won, the FlyQuest team takes care of one koala per month.
On July 20, 2024, FlyQuest announced on Twitter that they had officially adopted a koala named Mavis. This became possible thanks to the team's participation in Project KOALAficiation and the support of fans who actively participated in the campaign.
FlyQuest also made a donation to koala conservation through the Australian Koala Foundation and received a certificate of adoption.
The Project KOALAficiation initiative includes the following actions:
