According to exclusive information received from the sources of the BLIX.gg portal, it became known that the European esports organization OG is preparing to restructure its roster significantly. They are expected to part ways with two leading players: Nikolay Niko Christensen and Shahar FlameZ Shushan.
These changes were previously announced by the Belarusian insider hurumi on May 16, and his predictions turned out to be correct. In addition, hurumi also noted that Adam NEOFRAG Zouhar, another member of the OG team, may also decide to leave the organization.
FlameZ joined OG in mid-2021 and has been one of the team's key players ever since. However, his contract has expired, and according to information available to BLIX, the organization and FlameZ haven’t agreed on extending cooperation.
As for Niko, he also joined OG in mid-2021, but after the 2022 season was moved to the reserve. He recently returned to the core team, replacing IGL Nemanja nexa Isakovic. However, OG faced problems after his return and showed only average results. The only notable achievement was the 3rd-4th place in the Brazy Party 2023 online tournament.
A poor start to 2023, including a poor performance at the last Major CS:GO BLAST.tv Major Paris 2023, where OG lost to ENCE, NIP, and GamerLegion, catalyzed changes in the team. Sources claim that OG plans to make large-scale changes to its lineup after the conclusion of the last LAN tournament, IEM Dallas 2023, which begins on May 29.
OG is currently expected to enter the offseason with the following lineup:
