The group stage of the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals 2023 taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina has come to an end. Eight teams battled for the $150,000 prize pool and four teams withdrew from the tournament while the rest will continue to compete for the prize pool.
NIP, 9z, paiN and BESTIA participated in Group A. NIP had a great game, defeating paiN and 9z to come out of the group with a 2-0 win and take the top spot in the group. The second runners up were 9z who despite losing to NIP were able to defeat BESTIA and paiN to finish the group stage with a score of 2-1.
Group B consisted of KOI, fnatic, RED Canids and Imperial. KOI performed flawlessly, defeating RED Canids and Imperial to advance from the group with a 2-0 win. Second were fnatic, who first lost to RED Canids, but then defeated Imperial and took revenge on RED Canids, finishing the group stage with a score of 2-1.
The semifinal pairings are already known: KOI will face 9z and NIP will meet fnatic. It will be a tight battle for a place in the finals and a chance to win the tournament.
FiReLEAGUE Global Finals 2023 continues and we are waiting for important playoff matches that will determine the finalists and the winner of the tournament.
