Organizers of the FiReLEAGUE 2023 Global Finals for CS2 have moved the tournament to May 2024. This was reported by the HLTV portal.
Originally, the championship was to take place in Barcelona, Spain at the "Camp Nou" stadium, but due to its reconstruction, holding the competition there became impossible. The organizers tried to find another location, but all attempts were unsuccessful.
Thus, the FiReLEAGUE 2023 Global Finals will take place between ESL Pro League Season 19 and IEM Dallas 2024 — from May 19 to 25. The tournament also received a new venue, which is now set to be in Buenos Aires, Argentina. All participants agreed to the postponement of the event. The championship will have a prize pool of $150,000.
It was also revealed earlier that the Hussar Cup, with a prize pool of $600,000, has been postponed to the summer of 2024. You can read more about this in the article.
