The end of an era for FaZe and broky
FaZe's decision was the result of a series of unsuccessful results in 2025. The team failed to reach the playoffs at IEM Katowice, IEM Melbourne, and BLAST Open Lisbon, and the only deep passages were associated with tournaments from PGL, where the lineup of opponents was less competitive.

A decline in the sniper's game
Broky himself has been showing an unstable performance lately. His best form remained in the first half of last year, and in 2025, the Latvian rarely showed a rating above 6.0 at big events.
Starting out as a referee in FaZe, broky quickly moved to the role of AWPer and became part of the legendary period for FaZe. Together with the team, he won nine major titles, including a victory at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, second places at PGL Major Copenhagen and Perfect World Shanghai Major, as well as a “golden double” at IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne. In addition, broky won the Intel Grand Slam Season 4 and received three MVP awards.
