FACEIT banned a player because he played too much CS

Bradley "Slugy" Koler received a 24-hour ban from FACEIT for an exhausting gaming marathon, during which he played 78 games over three days without a break. The reason for the ban from the platform was stated as "cs2 - Go To Sleep," reflecting concern for the player's health.

Slugy started his gaming marathon on Sunday, January 14th, around 04:51 AM, and continued to play continuously until the evening of January 16th. His last match before the ban occurred at 06:07 PM, after which the total gaming session time exceeded 62 hours.

Such active gaming activity can have serious health consequences, including death from exhaustion, medical complications such as pulmonary artery thromboembolism, strokes, or fatal cardiac arrhythmias, especially for those who already have pre-existing health problems.

Lack of sleep over such a prolonged stage can have negative health consequences. Considering this, the ban from FACEIT, although temporary, aims to encourage Slugy to rest and recover after such an intense period of gaming.
