In an interview with HLTV, Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg, the legendary Swedish CS player, hinted at the possible end of his professional Counter-Strike career, expressing doubts about returning to top-level play. The 36-year-old player, known for his long career and strong shooting skills, is currently uncertain about returning to esports.
After a career full of events, f0rest finds himself at a crossroads. After leaving Dignitas in May 2022, where the entire roster was up for transfer, f0rest was left without a permanent team. His last participation was a temporary stint at IEM Dallas 2023 for Fnatic. Despite temporary contracts, the desire to start anew with a new team seems to be fading.

Although the idea of creating a new team doesn't attract him, f0rest is open to other paths in esports, especially coaching up-and-coming Swedish talents. While f0rest contemplates his future, the community watches with interest, hoping he continues to influence the scene in various ways.
