Going into the tournament, Europe had a strong chance of securing an additional slot at the Major based on Circuit Points rankings. However, several outsiders produced sensations by eliminating some of Europe's top teams in the early stages of the competition.
This unexpected turn of events reshuffled the Circuit Points leaderboard, leaving Europe in a precarious position. For example, the Brazilian team paiN proved itself to be one of the best and showed that it has every chance of winning the major. Therefore, from now on, European teams will have to work harder on their game.
Let us remind you that PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 takes place from March 17 to 31 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The teams are competing for a prize pool of $1.25 million. The schedule and results of the tournament can be followed by following this link.
