Cyber athletes don't want to play on the same team with women in Valorant and CS:GO

Professional players in Valorant and CS:GO refuse to play on the same team with women and are even unwilling to test their skills. Journalist and commentator Rod "Slasher" Breslau shared this information, citing the words of cyber athlete Melanie "meL" Capone.

Capone tried several times to qualify for male teams. However, in each club there were players who insisted that meL and other women not be admitted to the tests, despite their past achievements and skills. Capone is one of the most titled esports players in Valorant.

A similar experience is shared by Michaela "mimi" Lintrap from G2 Gozen, a Danish cyber athlete who started her career in CS:GO. Even players competing in tier-2 and tier-3 leagues of the shooter from Valve did not allow women to the selection tests for spots in the teams. Julia "juliano" Kiran from G2 Oya also previously spoke about the biased attitude from the cyber athletes.
