The invited teams for IEM Cologne 2024, which will take place in a LAN format from August 7 to August 18, have been announced. The Play-in stage will start on August 7, featuring teams such as:
Eight teams from the Play-in stage will advance to the main stage, while the others will leave the tournament. The format of the first part of the tournament is not yet known. The main stage will include: MOUZ, Vitality, FaZe, G2, Spirit, NAVI, Astralis, and Virtus Pro.

The winner of the tournament will receive $400,000 and two slots at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 and IEM Katowice 2025. Last year, G2 were the winners; it will be interesting to see if they can repeat that success this time.
