ESL announced the addition of five teams to the list of participants in ESL Pro League Season 19, selected based on their position in the ESL world ranking. Invitations were received by Cloud9, Falcons, BetBoom, GamerLegion, and Eternal Fire.
Falcons made it into the league thanks to the high position of their player Emil "Magisk" Reif in the ESL world ranking, as well as the former ENCE lineup, which also had significant ranking points. Other teams such as Virtus.pro and Monte already had places in the Pro League thanks to victories in ESL Challenger competitions in 2023.
Four more spots in EPL S19 will be played out through various qualifying tournaments, and the last place will be awarded to the winner of ESL Pro League Season 19: European Conference. The ESL Pro League will take place from April 23 to May 12, where 32 teams will compete for a prize pool of $750,000.
