The Chinese team TYLOO was forced to withdraw from the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 tournament due to a visa interview at the US Embassy. The team passed the Chinese qualification for the Major in Austin, but due to the inability to quickly complete the paperwork, TYLOO withdrew from the tournament.
As a result, TYLOO's place was taken by Eruption, the vice-champions of the Mongolian qualification. At the same time, there were changes in their lineup: for unknown reasons, NEUZ will be replaced by xenization.
The organizers first considered inviting Shika, the finalists of the Chinese qualification. However, due to logistical constraints, the team was also unable to get to the tournament venue in a timely manner.

Reformatting the tournament grid
After TYLOO's withdrawal, the organizers decided to redistribute the teams' seedings according to the current VRS rankings update of April 7. The opening matches of the group stage were changed accordingly.
Who will play in the tournament
MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 will take place from April 30 to May 4 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Eight teams will compete for a prize pool of $250,000. Among the participants: BIG, HEROIC, B8, SAW, JijieHao, The Huns Esports, Chinggis Warriors, and Eruption.
The format includes the Swiss system in the group stage and single elimination in the playoffs. All matches, except for the grand final, will be held in Bo3 format, and the final will be held in Bo5 format.
