ENCE sweep Astralis, advance to the IEM Fall Europe final

Second semifinal of the tournament.

With Ninjas in Pyjamas already advancing to the IEM Fall Europe final, it was time for Astralis and ENCE Esports to find out who was going to face the hometown heroes in the final match of the event.

Starting on the Danish team’s pick of Nuke, ENCE Esports posted a “12-3” defence, closing it out in no time with their offensive pistol win, “16-4”. Moving to Ancient, it was all about the Finnish team again, as they started with eight consecutive rounds on the offence out of the gate, switching with a yet another “12-3” halftime score. This time Astralis secured a pistol round and tried to mount a comeback, but a half buy win by ENCE Esports’s defence stopped it on its track, ending the map “16-7” for a “2-0” series victory.

Now Astralis will clash with Team Vitality for the third place, while ENCE Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas are going to fight for the IEM Fall Europe championship.
