ENCE Academy has officially introduced Aleksi "millert" Lehtopuu and Giorgi "Schwarz" Gakhokidze to their lineup, marking a significant roster update for the junior team. This move comes following the promotion of Paavo "podi" Heiskanen to the main ENCE squad in late May and the departure of Henri "HENU" Ylilehto in June.
Millert, a 17-year-old Finnish AWPer, has shown promise in his previous engagements, notably with Enhanced and a brief stint at Sprout Academy. His recent performances have demonstrated a keen sharpshooting ability, making him a valuable asset to the ENCE Academy.
Joining him is 16-year-old Georgian rifler Schwarz, who transitions from The Prodigies. Known for his aggressive playstyle and tactical prowess, Schwarz's addition is expected to bring a fresh dynamism to the team's strategies.
George "Whitey" White, the coach of ENCE Academy, expressed excitement about the new signings:
We are always on the lookout for new rising stars, so it was a no-brainer to bring in Schwarz and millert to show that raw desire and hunger to be the next best. Having a hungry young core as well as a more senior player, 2high, working closely alongside me, the sky is the limit for this team! After the player break, we want to introduce a deep schedule to fuel this hunger, hit any goals we’ve set, and prove ourselves as a squad for the remainder of 2024!
The new roster lineup for ENCE Academy now includes:
With the inclusion of millert and Schwarz, ENCE Academy looks poised to tackle the upcoming challenges in the North American ESL Challenger League Season 48, which kicks off on July 15. Fans and analysts alike are eager to see how these changes will translate into performance in the competitive circuit.
