Complexity 2024 has had a challenging year for Complexity. A win at ESL Challenger Jönköping couldn't make up for all the misses in the playoffs. Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski recognizes that the team needs to make the playoffs more often to prove their status as a top-10 team. "We need to start becoming a team that at least makes the playoffs, start showing that we're a top-10 team or deserve to be a top-10 team in the world," he told HLTV.

A 2-0 victory over ALTERNATE aTTaX was an important step for Complexity on their way to success at IEM Cologne 2024. Despite a difficult game on Anubis and tense moments on Inferno, the team delivered a solid performance. EliGE noted that the team controlled most of the game on both maps, although they could have played better on Inferno.
"We make it hard for other teams to play against us. So we definitely have things we can use in a positive way, starting with the BLAST groups and continuing here," emphasized EliGE.
Expectations and hopes
Complexity are aiming for a successful performance at IEM Cologne 2024 and are aiming to qualify for the playoffs. "For me, just making it to the playoffs would be enough. That was the minimum goal for me, especially considering how the beginning of the year went when we didn't even make the playoffs," said EliGE.
Despite the challenging year, the team believes in their strengths and is ready to work on improving their performance. "We have players that can create crazy moments, really good mechanics, good reads. I think we have good macro. We have a lot of things going in our favor, but at the end of the day we have to show results," he added.
