Team Liquid player Jonathan EliGE Jablonowski spoke about the training process in the North American region. He shared his thoughts in an interview for the organization.
Even though we are a team from North America, we spend a lot of time in Europe. The roster has a good boot camp every time we go to international tournaments. We need to study the current CS: GO meta and the strategies of teams from Europe. In our region, there are significant problems with this.
This has always been the case in North America. When we play practice at home, we concentrate only on our actions, regardless of what the opponent shows. Sometimes our training is ineffective because our opponents die quickly when we try to do our own thing.
Teams train without a goal. They're just working on an individual game. This makes the practice very difficult in terms of efficiency and time efficiency. In Europe, we can check everything we want because there are more realistic situations in practice than in North America.Jonathan EliGE Jablonowski
Earlier, Complexity Gaming player Michael Grim Vince spoke about the state of the professional scene in North America. He noted that players need to change for the better, stop looking for excuses and start showing good CS.
