Dycha left the active Monte roster
Dycha left the active Monte roster

Polish player Pawel "dycha" Dycha has announced a temporary departure from the competitive CS2 scene. He made this decision after the completion of Monte's matches, which allowed the team to maintain its ranking in the VRS system. Now Monte faces the challenge of adapting to the game without dycha, while the player remains open to offers from new teams.

Situation in Monte before dycha's departure

Monte has recently been going through tough times. The team failed to consistently perform well at tournaments, and roster changes only increased the pressure. Earlier this month, dycha had already asked the organization to move him to the bench but agreed to finish the remaining matches to maintain Monte's positions. However, after their completion, he made the final decision to take a break.

Officially, dycha is going inactive until the end of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, which concludes on June 22. It is currently unknown who will take his place in Monte, but the team is forced to find a replacement for future performances. Before going on break, dycha has a rating of 6.1.

Player's plans and Monte's future

Despite leaving, dycha does not intend to end his career. He stated that he remains motivated to play at the highest level and is open to offers from other teams.

My goal remains the same — I want to keep competing at the highest level of CS, and I'm still highly motivated to make this happen. If you are interested in working together, feel free to reach out to me via DM.

Dycha's decision is yet another example of how high pressure affects professional players. His departure could impact Monte's balance, especially at a critical point in the season. It remains to be seen how the organization will address the personnel issue and if the team can cope with the loss of one of its key players.
