NIP continue to suffer from problems. Nicolai “device” Reedtz went inactive before the semifinal of IEM Winter 2021 and he will not come back at Blast Premier World Final 2021.
NIP suddenly got hit by device having to go inactive on the same day as IEM Winter 2021 semifinal. They resolved the problem by taking Love “phzy” Smidebrant from Young Ninjas and replacing the Danish AWPer. Phzy managed to help the team to advance to the Grand Final but the last match against Vitality was a disaster and NIP took second place.
However, NIP managed to beat G2, who were also playing with a stand-in and it might be more difficult for them to show the same result at Blast Premier World Final 2021 as the level of the opponents is much higher.
Blast Premier World Final 2021 starts on December 14th. NIP will face G2 in their first match.
