device: "The main reason I still compete is the release of CS2."

Astralis sniper, Nicolai 'device' Reedtz, has shared his future plans in light of the release of Counter-Strike 2. The Dane hopes to replicate the successes of his team's CS:GO era in the new installment of the shooter.

The four-time major champion aims to leave a lasting legacy in CS2 under the Astralis banner – a team he shares a deep bond with.

I still have something to offer. I wouldn't come back if I didn't believe in it myself. My competitive spirit is too strong. The main reason I stay in esports is the release of CS2. It offers a chance to write a new successful chapter with a new Astralis lineup, which, hopefully, will be as victorious as the organization's journey with CS:GO. Another triumphant chapter in my CS2 legacy is my biggest aspiration for the coming years.
My motivation to return was also fueled by my attachment to the organization I love and have been a part of for many years. The sight of the office and familiar faces bring back memories.

It should be noted that the two upcoming tournaments featuring Astralis are the Roobet Cup and CS:GO Asia Championships, set to start in the second half of October and the first half of November respectively. Meanwhile, in the ongoing EPL S18, the Danish squad secured a 13-16th position.
