Max "Demon1" Mazanov boasts impressive stats after playing 9 maps in the tournament, placing among the best of all participants. The most significant figure from these stats is his average kills per match, which is at 20.5 units - the best result in this tournament. His K/D ratio stands at 1.55, and only Emir "Alfajer" Beder from the Fnatic team has a better result, at 1.74. His average combat score is 260 units, putting him in third place.

Rapid Improvement in a Short Time

Comparing the player's stats from the World Championship to the previous international tournament, VCT Masters Tokyo 2023, one can notice how much Max "Demon1" Mazanov improved his game in a short time. However, in the subsequent showdown against Fut Esports, he didn't limit himself to just Jett and played as Chamber. EDward Gaming faced Demon1 in a new role, playing the agent Astra. He played the match against DRX using agents Brimstone and Astra.

The "Demon" has one of the largest agent pools in this tournament; in four matches, he played four different agents and took on two distinct roles.

Best Match of the Tournament

Max "Demon1" Mazanov's best performance was in the match against DRX. Playing both maps as a smoker, Demon1 showcased stellar results. He concluded the first map, Fracture, with 28 kills and only 9 deaths. These stats are double that of his team's best duelist.

The next map proved even more dominant for him. Max Mazanov ended it with a K/D ratio of over 2 and a headshot rate of 39%. For his stellar play, he rightfully earned the MVP title for that match.
