Insider DonHaci reported that several people told him they received VAC bans for using a console command in Counter-Strike 2. He shared this information on Twitter.
According to DonHaci, gamers were banned for using a console command that allows turning 180 degrees in CS2. Content creator under the nickname Poggu conducted an experiment: he activated the command allowing instant 180-degree turn live on air, started a match in "Premier" mode and asked opponents to report him. Immediately after the opponents reported Poggu, he received a VAC ban. At the time of publication, the developers have not commented on the situation.
I can confirm, I did a quick stream where I intentionally did funny. It was fine until I wrote in the chat that the players report me, the second a report came in I got untrusted (banned) VOD: https://t.co/aaSLJZjUbV https://t.co/HbeCqrFguy pic.twitter.com/Iittgnon5k

Valve announced CS2 in the spring of 2023 and stated that the full release of the shooter is planned for the summer of the same year. However, at the moment, the game is still in limited testing. It is assumed that this could be related to different seasonal definitions in the US and Europe. If so, the new version of the Valve shooter should be released in the next few days.
