Developers of Counter-Strike 2 released a small patch on the night of November 4th. It was mainly aimed at adjusting rankings, fixing bugs, and other issues.

Now, some cases where the ranking was decreased or added for unclear reasons will be explained within the game. This, for example, concerns instances when a cheater receives a VAC ban during a match.

Update Text

• The interface now displays the remaining time until the weekly drop's recharge.
• The competitive ranking will now update after returning to the main menu after a victory.
• A notification has been added at the end of a match for cases when the ranking is adjusted mid-map (game exit or rank return after a cheater's ban).
• Various bug fixes.

Recall that Valve also recently brought community maps back to CS2. So now you can practice again on the same aim_botz or somewhere else. Pro players warmly welcomed such an update.
