Activists attempted to disrupt the quarter-final match between G2 Esports and MOUZ at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 in CS2 by running onto the stage during the second map of the clash. As a result of the incident, the match was interrupted.
Volunteers who had previously criticised the partnership between G2 and the CSGORoll portal burst onto the stage. Representatives of the online casino with CSGOEmpire skins took responsibility for organising the action. While attempting to detain one of the activists, the Major's main trophy fell and collapsed.
For safety reasons, cyber athletes were evacuated from the stage. At the time of publication, the protesters were detained, the players returned to the stage and finished the match. G2 was stronger than MOUZ with a score of 2:0.
