Players of the now defunct Danish club Copenhagen Flames, TMB, raalz, and Farlig, purchased several hundred organization stickers a day before the public announcement of bankruptcy. The price of different types of CPH Flames stickers on the Steam Marketplace increased 2-3 times after the announcement.
As claimed by the trader who conducted the deal, he sold a total of 250 Copenhagen Flames (Holo) | Stockholm 2021 and Copenhagen Flames (Holo) | Antwerp 2022 stickers for half price. The Danish esports players could have earned a four-figure sum in euros, which is not particularly impressive by Scandinavian standards. Interestingly, they bought the stickers from their main accounts, without trying to hide their intentions.

Essentially, the actions of the Danish club members could be considered insider trading. In the US and other countries, it is a criminal offense punishable by a fine of several million dollars or 20 years in prison. However, the Steam Marketplace is not a regulated market, so it is unlikely that the trio will face any sanctions other than those from Valve, if they decide to intervene.
