Canadian content maker Felix xQc Lengyel has shared his opinion on the prospect of signing a Counter-Strike team. During a private broadcast on Twitch, the streamer revealed that he has no plans to sign a lineup, as he believes the scene is "oversaturated."
"Cybersports isn't profitable anymore. On top of being a money dump, Counter-Strike is overrated," Lengyel emphasized when discussing the possible signing of a team. xQc noted that he found it much harder to adjust to the competitive scene in Valve's shooter than in Valorant. According to the streamer, he will need significant effort and financial investment to succeed in CS.
Previously, xQc rejected an offer to acquire the franchise league's Valorant team due to the high costs of the project. Lengyel spoke about his thoughts on the possibility of launching a cybersports project with former players of The Guard.
