Complexity became the champions of ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024, defeating Falcons in the final with a score of 2-0 and winning $50,000 for first place. This title is Complexity's first since June 2020.
The first map, Vertigo, chosen by Complexity, ended with their victory after a comeback from an 8-4 deficit, finishing with a score of 13-10. The second map, Nuke, chosen by Falcons, also ended in a Complexity victory with a score of 13-9. Despite the loss, Falcons secured a spot in ESL Pro League Season 20 since Complexity already have a place in the tournament. This gives Falcons the opportunity to continue competing at a higher level.
The tournament MVP was Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski with a rating of 7.0. His remarkable performance was a key factor in Complexity's victory. Moreover, this is their first trophy in a LAN tournament since the CS 1.6 era, making this victory particularly significant for the organization.
The victory in the tournament marked a great end to the season for them, and despite the loss, Falcons obtained the coveted spot in ESL Pro League Season 20, which can also be considered a good conclusion.
