In his latest interview, the legendary Brazilian rifler Marcelo "coldzera" David talked about his future intentions on the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene. Moreover, as Marcelo claims, we will no longer see him in an international roster.
Currently, Marcelo is playing for the Brazilian organization Legacy. With this team, he has already participated in 12 championships, but has not been able to achieve significant success.
It is worth noting, however, that the team had some moderately successful championships:
- CBCS 2023 Season 3 (1st place)
- BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023 (5-8th place)
In total, he has managed to win only $20,000 with the team!
The main reason why we will no longer see coldzera in an international roster is that he spent too long away from his family during the coronavirus pandemic. Let's recall that at that time, he was playing for FaZe Clan, and after that, he moved to Complexity Gaming, both teams based in Europe.
Coldzera:
"During the coronavirus, I didn't see my family for a year and a half. This situation affected me so much that I gave up the idea of playing for an international roster. I told myself that it was the first and last time. No matter how hard I tried, I don't want to be away from my family. So I started striving to return to Brazil to play in a local team."
Coldzera has been playing in various Brazilian collectives for two years now.
