Peacemaker believes that EG had an advantage in the final qualifying match.
LOS + oNe (TeamOne) coach Luis peacemaker Tode criticized BLAST on Twitter before the last match of the closed qualifiers at RMR.
As soon as our bo3 finished they want us to be ready to play in 45minutes, while EG finished their series earlier and had more time to rest. We asked for extended time, at least an hour from now so we can rest after the series, and they are claiming EG wants to follow the schedule, ofc they want it, they havent been playing for the past 4 hours.. now theyre saying we will be forfeited if we dont show up. Last series of the day and with a spot at the RMR on the line and you guys cant be fucking reasonable and give us at least an hour to go eat and rest mentally to be ready for another 3 hours game?
BLAST is completely wrong in this situation
This situation was unfair to one of the teams and could affect the outcome of the most crucial match. Resting for 45 minutes and resting for 4 hours is a huge difference. Forty-five minutes are not enough to rest, and such jumps between BO3 will negatively affect any team.
At the same time, BLAST violates the players' trade union (CSPPA) requirements, which all tournament operators have agreed to. Furthermore, at the organization's request, the interval between two BO3s for each team must be at least 3 hours. And if the result of the match was the second, it could result in a loud scandal.
LOS + oNE still won the match
The peacemaker's team still beat Evil Geniuses with a score of 2-0 and earned a spot on the American RMR. Even considering EG's advantage, LOS + oNe still beat the American club, which prevented this scandal from developing.
One can only express respect to the Brazilian team for the fact that, despite the difficulties, the team still showed its maximum.
When will the American RMR be held?
The American RMR will be held from April 5 to 9 in the Mexican city of Monterrey. North-American and South-American teams will participate, 5 of which will receive places at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
