Natus Vincere CEO Yevgen HarisPilton Zolotarev spoke about the organization's interest in signing Timur buster Tulepov and the impossibility of such a transfer due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zolotarev shared the club's plans for the future and assessed the prospects of Ukrainian esports.
Last May, NAVI showed interest in the Kazakh player buster. At that time, Tulepov was bound by a contract with Virtus.pro, but was in reserve. This story ended with only conversations and rumors on the Internet. Zolotarev also spoke about the organization's plans.
To be honest, it's a difficult topic but I don't see how we could buy a player from a Russian club, even if they are covering themselves with Armenian flags. Long term, of course we want to focus on Ukrainian talent, and this is shown with our academy project, which is currently made up of Ukrainian players only.
We want to be a club where the best Ukrainian players are going to play. At the same time, we are building a global brand, so there is a chance that we will consider international players for all disciplines. Our academy projects may become international relatively soon.

Against the background of the success of Monte and B8 Esports, which were qualified for RMR for Europe before BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, CEO Natus Vincere shared his opinion regarding the prospects of the Ukrainian esports scene.
The main thing is that for young players to develop there are a lot of difficulties. They're unable to bootcamp, they can have problems with electricity, with traveling, etc. If the war ends this year, we as Ukrainian gamers will come back stronger. But if it's going to be a frozen conflict for many years, I don't know. But I want to stay positive.
The next tournament for Natus Vincere will be the ESL Pro League Season 17. The electroNic's team was seeded in Group D. In the first round, "born to win" will face forZe. The confrontation is scheduled for March 15, 6:00 PM Moscow time.
EPL S17 takes place from February 22 to March 26 in Malta. The teams will draw a prize fund of $850,000. The schedule and results of the competition can be followed here.
