In his latest interview, the new captain of Team Liquid, Casper cadiaN Møller, talked about the players of the new team's roster and the establishment of the work process. He also commented on his transfer to the team.
Before cadiaN joined, Marek YEKINDAR Galinskis served as the captain of Team Liquid, and here is how cadiaN comments on his gameplay:
I thought that with my arrival, Liquid would get a better IGL, and when I learned that they would also sign Twistzz, I realized it would be an excellent roster. It turned out to be a strong roster, the CORE players are powerful.I talked to YEKINDAR at IEM Dallas, he was planning to become an IGL. I told him that he would regret it, and I would prove it to him.
I was very happy when I was offered the role of captain in Liquid. It's one thing to replace an AWP, another to be a captain. They have good scouting, they don't take players solely because of numbers.
Also, Casper talked about how he is currently building the work process in the team:
It's important for me not to create Heroic 2.0 in Liquid. It's a different culture, team, and people, but I really want to have good chemistry inside the roster, on the server, and off. It's cool to understand each other and communicate, we're currently in our honeymoon period.Everyone in the team pleasantly surprised me, they behave like friends and play beautifully. This is what I was looking for in my new home, to be friends.
We have a good balance in the team, no very aggressive or very passive players, four different schools of CS, but only Twistzz and NAF have rich experience.
We need to start not with playing CS, but with identifying the roster's problems, we hired a psychologist who will be able to help us build team work. We went on a 3-day vacation to get to know each other better, to meet and become friends. Friendship is important when you travel constantly.
We will be able to see the new lineup in action only at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024, which starts on January 22, 2023. At the time of writing this article, the last official match of Team Liquid was played 65 days ago against Complexity Gaming in CS:GO.
