The former professional CS:GO player Lucas Bubzkji Andersen stated that he does not intend to return to the pro scene and shared his plans for the future. The Dane shared the information on his personal Twitter page.
I took a break from competitive CS after being benched and joined TV2. I enjoyed it but sadly, TV2 stopped. I won't return to playing but am open to analyst broadcast opportunities in 2024.
Bubzkji worked as an analyst on the Danish TV channel TV2 for over two years. The company decided to close the esports division and fired everyone involved. Andersen noted that he is open to collaboration with ESL, BLAST, or other tournament operators that will focus on covering Counter-Strike 2 competitions.
Bubzkji became known to the world through his performances with MAD Lions, with whom he won the Flashpoint Season 1. Afterwards, he became the sixth player in the Astralis line-up, but due to Valve restrictions, he found himself on the bench. Over his pro player career, Andersen earned over $220,000 in prize money.
