br0 played the first game after leaving the active roster of Astralis

Alexander "br0" Bro appeared once more on the server, playing for Gaimin Gladiators in their match against HOTU in the YaLLa Compass Fall 2024. This marked his first official match since being benched by Astralis.

Departure from Astralis

Alexander "br0" Bro left the active Astralis roster on September 17 when the organization announced the arrival of Casper "cadiaN" Møller. This came as a surprise to many, given br0's strong performance and solid gameplay.

Leading up to the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, the team announced they would play with cadiaN because br0 was reportedly ill. However, the community erupted with discussions after both the player and his manager reported that br0 was in excellent condition. Consequently, BLAST stated that they would conduct an investigation, which they passed on to ESIC.

Match Details

The match began with an unexpected twist as HOTU received a technical defeat on the first map, the reason for which remains unknown. The match score opened at 1-0 in favor of Gaimin Gladiators, with the teams next competing on the map Vertigo.

Here, br0 showcased excellent performance, achieving a 6.7 rating, reflecting a high level of skill, finishing the map in second place in terms of ratings among all players. The score on the map favored GG at 13-8.
